Hi,

I have looked at various way and am trying to work out how to do it, but basically I am doing an ssl offload for my two frontend exchange servers.  All works great except that I need to manually append /owa to my url.  Can someone please give me guideance on how to this with a responder or rewrite please.   (i dont want to have to modify my virtual OWA dir on the front end servers to be the default directory.)   I have quite a few applications that will be similar to this in future so if i can get help on this, it will make my life so so so much easier...    Thanks in advance.

Adding to this -  even better if the URL can always stay as https://webmail.abc.com  but behind the scenes its appending /owa if that makes sense.

What is the version of the NS that you are running? What you are looking for is a simple setup with responder, but the policies are different between the versions.

add responder action OWA_Redirect_Action redirect "\"https://webmail.abc.com/owa\""

This is the actual action that will be taken as a result of the policy below

add responder policy OWA_redirect "HTTP.REQ.URL.PATH.EQ(\"/\")" OWA_Redirect_Action

This is the responder policy. What I have done if extremely basic. We are looking for a URL that is at the root of the domain. This way, it will not loop once you have be redirected to /owa

Obviously you do not want to bind this Globally, as that would redirect all your traffic that lands on a site root to your OWA site. Bind this at the CS Vserver level, or at the LB Vserver level.

You must create the ACTION before you can create the policy, so if you want to change the name, do so and then run the command at the CLI.

Let me know how this works out for you.
