NetScaler and Password Self Service
« on: October 20, 2011, 01:50:35 PM »
Hello,

I'm curious if is is possible to configure the NetScaler to allow user password self-service (with Single Sign-on/Password Manager). We have our WI Web Site configured to use Gateway Direct, so there's no obvious option to allow self-service, so I assume it would be configured on the NS.

Thanks,
Alain

Hello,

If you use the Netscaler for authentication, in your LDAP server configuration, you can check "allow password change".

Is that what you mean?

Timco,

Looks like we're using Radius for authentication, but there is an LDAP policy configured. So I would have to switch it to LDAP and make sure it was secure, then I could allow password change.

This is probably want I need, but I wanted to know if there was a way to integrate Password Manager into NetScaler. Ideally, security would want someone to answer their secret questions for their password reset and I don't know if the NS can be configured to handle that.

Thanks,
Alain

Aloha,

I think the netscaler platform does not support the Password self service intergration.

But you can use it with the Citrix Webinterface.
