Citrix announced at Synergy that they will be releasing a netscaler as a virtual appliance for xenserver in Q3 2009 for resellers and Q4 for public. With Branch Repeater, Easycall and Access Gateway appliances also on there way.

As far as I have been told, it will only run on Xen. It was design that way.

As an update to this thread, there will be an VMWare ESX version of the Citrix NetScaler VPX which should be coming up any day now on either MyCitrix or Citrix Downloads.

Heard this directly from Citrix Systems Netherlands yesterday @ Citrix Partner Exchange 2009.

And of course, it's now on the Citrix VPX page.

All we need now is a version that we can at least play with on VMWare workstation!!!
